Net2000 Communications announced James Garrettson as the new Executive Vice President of Sales. In this role, Garrettson will be responsible for all Net2000 sales and revenue achievement. Garrettson brings over 15 years of telecommunications management experience to Net2000. He most recently served as Senior Vice President of North American Sales for Cidera, a satellite-based streaming media provider of broadband content. Garrettson worked with Internet Service Providers, Content Delivery Networks, collocation providers, and caching solutions vendors to capitalize on the rapid growth of streaming media. Garrettson served as President of Teleglobe Business Solutions from 1999 - 2000. Prior to Teleglobe, Garrettson spent eight years in increasing positions of responsibility with LCI International, Inc. After Qwest Communications acquired LCI in 1998, he became Senior Vice President of Business Sales. He managed a team of over 1,200 people and five regional vice presidents across the U.S. in over 60 offices with an annual sales plan of $770 million. In addition to leading sales teams and revenue growth at Qwest, Garrettson also directed the deployment of a customized sales force automation platform. Garrettson also held a variety of sales and sales management roles with MCI Telecommunications. Garrettson holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from the University of Hartford, Barney School of Business.

DataVoN, a wholly owned operating subsidiary of DTVN Holdings, announced that it has promoted Chad Frazier, presently serving as Vice President Network Operations, to the new post of Chief Technical Officer. Frazier will be responsible for managing the strategic planning, engineering and construction of DataVoN's expanding network and service offerings. Frazier joined DataVoN in early 2000, and previously served as Director of Technical Services for Revenue Communications, where he was responsible for engineering and constructing an SS7 based platform to perform various database query and response services. Frazier's prior experience also includes four years as President of ABCO Service Company, which specialized in various outside plant operations throughout the Southwest. From 1988-1994 Frazier was employed as Product Manager of several of the products and services for Intellicall. Frazier is a graduate of Southern Methodist University.

Maxcom Telecomunicaciones, S.A. de C.V., a facilities-based CLEC that focuses on small- and medium-sized businesses and high-end residential customers in Mexico City and Puebla, announced that Eduardo Patron joined the company as Chief Marketing Officer. Patron comes to Maxcom with more than 19 years of experience in marketing. Most recently, Mr. Patron has served as Marketing Director and Assistant General Manager for KRAFT FOODS in Mexico, a subsidiary of PHILLIP MORRIS, where he contributed for the last 14 years to the success of this business in many different areas within the marketing group. Previously, Patron worked as Promotion and Merchandising Manager for ALFA ALIMENTOS, a subsidiary of GRUPO ALFA, and as Account Executive for A.C. NIELSEN. Patron is a Mexican citizen, married and holds an Industrial Engineering Degree from the Iberoamericana University in Mexico.

Zephyr Telecommunications, a global Internet Protocol ("IP") communications company with operations in eleven countries, announced that it has added several key senior management team members to its operations in Europe and the United States. Paul Eldredge joins Zephyr as Chief Engineer. Prior to joining the company, Eldredge was the Chief Operating Officer of Global Broadband, a DSL carrier. Before Global Broadband, he was the President of COMAV Corporation, a facilities based CLEC in Massachusetts. Prior to COMAV, Eldredge spent 30 years with NYNEX, most recently as Director of Operations overseeing telephone operations in midtown Manhattan and the financial district in lower Manhattan. Ivan Laska joins the Board of Directors of Zephyr and is appointed Consultant to the Chairman of Zephyr. James Jackson joins the company as President, European Operations, located in Zephyr's European headquarters in Prague.
