Ashley Laurent's BroadWay Managed Firewall and Content Filtering software is designed to offer an integrated management platform and security solution that ISPs can use to develop a new revenue stream.

Ashley Laurent, a provider of embedded broadband service solutions for service providers, recently released its BroadWay Managed Firewall and Content Filtering software. According to Ashley Laurent, its BroadWay Integrated Service Software is a fully integrated Internet management platform and security and provisioning solution for narrowband and broadband silicon suppliers, device manufacturers and service providers.

Using a zero-touch approach to device management, the BroadWay ISS is designed to provide coordinated delivery of integrated network and security-related services. The company claims that service providers will be able to create a high-margin revenue stream by leveraging BroadWay software to deliver value-added security services to customers. And service providers may also take advantage of BroadWay's ASP model to reduce time-to-market and reduce support and infrastructure costs.

Ashley Laurent partnered with BSafe Online to provide a turnkey solution for offering content filtering and managed firewall services. BSafe Online provides the provisioning, billing, multilingual 24x7 support and a Web-based help center. By taking advantage of this partnership, Ashley Laurent says that its customers are able to eliminate the initial startup costs of offering these value-added services, while reducing support costs and time to market.

Availability and pricing
Content filtering is available now and the managed firewall is undergoing the final stages of testing. As offered through BSafe Online, final pricing will be $5.00 per month for both the managed firewall and managed content filtering service. Quantity purchases will lead to volume discounts.
