Subscriber Values
ISP-Planet released new U.S. ISP rankings, and the changes in ISP subscriberships are reflected in the calculations of subscriber values.

With new subscriber rankings changing the number of subscribers for many ISPs, the value per subscriber for most ISPs has changed, most notably in the case of AOL, where rising subscribers and falling market cap combined for a sharp drop in per-subscriber value from the previous month.
Values reflect market close on February 20, 2002.

numbers include RoadRunner and CompuServe. Juno and NetZero have merged into United Online. We report only paying subscribers for the merged company. EarthLink includes 172,000 webhosting accounts in its subscriber numbers. Log On America's
subscribers are as reported verbally, and Internet America's subscribers are
as of Dec. 31, 2001. ISP subscriber values without AOL would average $114 per subscriber.

RCN subscriber numbers include subscribers to the StarPower joint venture (a joint venture with Pepco Communications, L.L.C., a utility's subsidiary). RCN reported 119,955 cable Internet subscribers and 361,632 dialup subscribers. High Speed Access has scheduled a shareholder meeting "to approve the sale of substantially all of its assets to Charter Communications" on Feb. 28, 2002.
